Heat Exchanger Tube Advantages, Techniques and Equipment

  Heat exchangers play a key role in the operation of many systems and processes. Some everyday examples would include within your boiler when you turn on the hot water, or on your fridge or freezer to keep it cool. In the first case, heat is being transferred into the boiler, and the second heat is being transferred away to keep the freezer cool. Within industry heat exchangers are used for a whole host of processes, often within a critical setting. Within the power industry, for example, water must be heated into steam to drive the turbines, however, the steam must be superheated because any moisture in the steam can cause damage to the turbines. Without an effective heat exchanger, the steam wouldn't reach the correct temperature and the damage to the turbine would occur, potentially costing the power company millions.
